Morning Glory: GABRIELLE AERIN LIPKIN
GABRIELLE AERIN LIPKIN is a 13 year old budding artist & performer. Gabrielle has been drawing, writing, tapping the piano, strumming the guitar or performing onstage since was very little. Art as a form of expression has given Gabrielle her ‘voice’, and she keeps that voice alive by maintaining her focus on art, music, and drama year-round. During the Summer, has attended Belvoir Terrace, a camp for music and art, in Lenox, Mass. Gabrielle also performs with The School of Rock in North Hollywood. She is also a member of two bands ~ ‘the red hands’ is comprised of some of her close L.A. girlfriends, and ‘revolution’ is a dynamic duo with her Brit pal from school ~ both groups collaborate to create their own unique sound. ‘the red hands’ recently headlined a celebrity charity event supporting the Los Angeles ROCKSTAR Education Program. The arts and music have had a huge impact on Gabrielle, she mentors students and raises funds for ‘The Harmony Project‘ ~ Gabrielle believes everyone should have music and art be a part of their lives! Gabrielle just completed 7th grade at the Buckley School in Los Angeles, and this summer she will attend the ACE (Academy for Creative Excellence) program concentrating on music & guitar. WHAT GETS YOUR JUICES FLOWING? i’m the kind of person that sees things that most people overlook. i daydream a lot and ideas come to me and i tend to get deep in thought. i am always scribbling sketches and jotting down lyrics even on my school notebooks and textbooks. usually, a random lyric will come to my mind and then the song tends to create itself from there.
