About

An online publication brought to you by Seymour Projects.

From 2011 to 2016, Seymour Magazine published new content on a weekly basis. At the start of 2017, we decided to press pause on our usual format. In the five years since the ‘zine’s inception, the world around us has changed rapidly — perhaps more rapidly than ever in the course of human history. When we began there were few platforms for renegade voices & ideas, now there are thankfully many. As with all of our projects, we want to be certain that we’re adding to the conversation in a meaningful way.

While we break to consider Seymour Magazine’s next evolution, we have chosen to re-envision this platform as a resource library. We hope you like the new landing page and enjoy taking a dive into our pool of knowledge.

+ + +

Seymour Magazine provides you with philosophical and psychological insights into the creative process.  It introduces you to a fascinating selection of iconoclastic individuals who shine a light on the diverse array of fields related to the Seymour Projects mission.

Seymour Magazine encourages you to take regular breaks from technology to explore your consciousness, nurture your imagination, and play. We hope to stimulate you to embark on philosophical adventures more frequently and regularly push past the boundaries of conventional thought.

Seymour Magazine offers you original content as well as a selection of stimulating images and texts culled from the creative past.

Seymour Magazine doesn’t follow trends. We focus on subjects that fascinate us and feature creative people whose efforts we admire. We hope that their words and experiences will inspire you to trust your intuition, overcome self-doubt and just fucking go for it.
