Morning Glory: JEANNE SUSPLUGAS

 

JEANNE SUSPLUGAS is a French artist. Her work, explores addiction and alienation. Jeanne employs a variety of media to create; video, photograph, installations and drawing. Her work has been exhibited at the Dublin Contemporary, the Villa Medicis in Rome, Kunstwerke in Berlin, the Palazzo delle Papesse in Siena, the Fresnoy National Studio, the Museum of Modern Art of St Etienne and the Museum of Grenoble, the Maison des Arts in Malakoff, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Ulrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Wishita, Art in General, New York, & the Musée de la Piscine in Roubaix. Her films have been shown at festivals such as Hors Pistes (Centre Pompidou, Paris), Locarno International Festival and the Miami International FILM Festival.
