MATHIAS ‘MUNK’ MODICA is a DJ, keyboardist, producer, & co-founder of Gomma Records (with Jonas Imbery) one of the leading German indie/electronic music labels. His DJ skills in high demand, he plays clubs, festivals, art happenings and fashion events (for the likes of Martin Margiela and Colette) around the world. THE BIRD AND THE BEAT , his the new album features 14 electronic funk, futuristic house and indie pop songs. La Musica – the pre-release single to the new album – came out in summer 2010 and was an instant hit. His latest single Keep My Secret with a great video by Kill the Tills was a smash too.
