WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE UP?
The alarm is set for 6:50 am, but I’m usually up much earlier. My kids are notoriously early risers and feel that it’s appropriate to wake me up when it’s still dark outside to ask me why it’s still dark outside.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR BREAKFAST?
One cup of Turkish coffee.  Sometimes just half a cup on those mornings when the coffee boils over on the stove. Then a second cup at Le Colimaçon on my way to the office.
ONE WORD THAT DESCRIBES YOUR MOOD IN THE MORNING?
Resolved.
WHAT GETS YOUR JUICES FLOWING?
An interesting conversation. Traveling. Making an unexpected left turn instead of a right. Anxiety. Patience. Surprises. Hope.
